Attention Vendors!!
Why doesn't sombody come out with an overlay for the silver plastic on the steering wheel spokes? GM makes the C/F kit, and the 08's have Black console's. How about someone coming out with something to cover the spokes. Keep in mind 07's and up have the radio controls.
Shouldn't be to hard to do in a soft material. To replace the part, the air bag has to come out. The clips are flimsey and easily broken. A WELL MADE overlay would look nice..IMHO

Amen, and amen. the first vendor to do this in a quality way has just been issued a license to print money. He'll get some of my cash (I'll take the pieces in Monterey Red, please) to use as a pattern.

OK, we will make it available in short period of time
OK, if you guys can live with the overlay then we can make it in short period time.
We can do very good price for the carbon fiber look that will match to GM's factory fake carbon. We plan to carry the whole line of carbon look so in the near future you can purchase any parts you want that will match to GM's kit.
We've been thinking to duplicate the Spoke Cap instead of molded overlay but the expensive tooling cost make us hesitate to go ahead. It will be much nicer to have the replacement part instead of overlay. But since most members won't appreciate the replacement part, then we can go for the overlay immediately. We've been making the molded overlay since 1995 and it's a very easy job for us.
