Thanks for the unbelieveable welcome everyone..
...for sure will post some pics when we get back.
The wife has never been to the west coast (she has never seen an ocean yet, never been west of Colorado basicly), and i havent been there in over 40 years.
We also bought her a new 07 Toyota Highlander about a month or so before we got the vet and were planning on taking that on this vacation, even ordered it with nav just for the trip, that was until we started driving the vet! Then she says "well if you want to take the vet we coud do that instead"
We are sooo excited to do this trip in the new vet. Its great to read everyone's posts about how great of a road car they are, and how well they do on long trips. I am 6'4 and have never fit so well in a car befor.
We're doing Vegas 3 days, LA 5 days, frisco 3 days, yosemity 1 day, Reno 2 days, salt lake city, and then to denver for 3 days.
Really looking forward to the drive down I-70 from Glenwood Springs to Denver too, thats a great run as well.
we're planning on taking lots of pics. so soon as i figure out how to get them posted i will put up a bunch and give you all a report on just how great i know this car is going to be.
