Default Oil Temp ?

what would the normal oil temp be? It's been about 100 degrees outside here latley. I just had the oil changed and the oil temp was 123 degrees after about a half hour of driving.

123 deg. sounds a little low to me after 30 min. of driving. Mine's usually up around 200 deg. by then. My 06 C6 oil temp will eventually get to about 210-215 driving around town, up to about 225 on the interstate.

223 wouldn't be unreasonable if you were getting on it a little.

Mine runs 214 in 60 and 70 degree weather. Any hotter and around 223 would be normal.
