After driving a 1992 Stealth R/T for 15 yrs, it was time to dump the old gal and move on. My new love is a 2007 victory red C6, with 2LT; Z51; removable top and chrome wheels. She is a beauty that runs like a top!
I must commend the people at Bowling Green for their efforts in building a flawless, high quality work of art!

Before I got my first vette in 2002 (see below) I had a 1998 3000GT SL Caracas Red. Beautiful car, but heavy for its size and low power (230HP). It had the best stock stereo I ever heard in a car too.
My problem (or should I say luck) was that I had an hour to kill one day and passed by a dealership with a 98 red coupe parked out front. I hadn't been in a vette for 30 years. I figured I would pretend I was looking so I could drive one. While cruising on I-65 I was thinking "wow! I shouldn't have done this!" It was so much fun to drive. Well many test drives, internet research and six months later I found my first vette, a 2002 Torch Red Z06. Took it from 7K miles to 84K in 4.5 years. Now have a VY Coupe, 6 speed, Z51.
Thank you all for the warm welcome. You are too kind.
Nice catch by photoguy, they are polished aluminum wheels. No Dodge did ever run for 15 yrs. -- it's a Mitsubishi in disguise.
First question: will GM honor the warranty if my scheduled services are performed by a local, non-dealer mechanic?
