Default Garage Roof rack for <$10....>>

Pardon if this has been posted before, but I've not seen it done. A few bucks for hangers at Lowe's or HD and Voila! Nice sturdy roof holder..
No more shlepping it up the the stairs to hide it under the bed....

I was telling the wife just this morning that I was going to have to make some kind of hanger for the roof that's not on the car. I'm storing mine inside in a closet though so the tremendous heat build-up in the garage doesn't damage the top.

Great job.

Very nice. I'm really lazy, can you provide the measurements? Thanks

21" between the top hangers. The lower support is actually optional but I added it as an additional support and security measure. After you mount the top hangers, hang the roof then hold the bottom bracket into position with a little pressure on the lower edge of the roof. Mark and screw to the wall..
Pretty simple really!

I bought some 1/8" nylon rope, and two eye hooks at Home Depot. Installed the eye hooks into on ceiling (through a rafter), and then created a "harness" from the rope that I attached to the eye hooks. When I wanted to store the top, the harness wrapped around the latching mechanisms . I did this in the spare bedroom, so I wanted something that could be easily removed. Worked great, but this looks like another great solution.
