You, DM, and service mgr should now consider yourselves good friends. You don't want to milk the deal, but you now know who to call if dealership cannot resolve other maint issues. Remember to maintain the chain of command, or you will alienate the service mgr. You can always ask him to make the call for you. You now have some very valueable info including names and phone numbers.

Remember the correct chain of command. Don't milk the system. You are now a very 'wealthy' vette owner.

Most state inspection regs call for a "horn to be heard at 250 feet." (Or some such distance.) Have dealer buy a bicycle bulb horn for $2.95. Attach it to mirror with duct tape. It will get you past inspection. I once did that in Tx for inpection purposes. It worked.
