In the last couple of years a few people have posted of doing it, try a search. Lots of time, $$ and labor involved and you end up with a slightly better finish than the factory polished. At least the stock polished are clear coated so they're easy to clean.

They are the wagon wheels 05-07 base 5 spoke so they are open and not any tight areas.

took my c5 wheels to a polisher and they were greay. true no clearcoat but polished aluminum is beautiful. they had full polish not just outside face. I take them of about 1'st a year , clean them and apply a wax. Bought the accesory 15 spoke wheel for my c6 and they are only polished on the outside and finish not real good so taking them to the same guy and have full polish
