Default Invicord Installation Question

OK.....rather than force this issue I thought it best to ask someone that has done it. I am ready to install the invisicord on a 07 vert with autodim and On-Star.

I can't seem to get the wire harness to come loose from the back of the mirror. When I depress the release tab, it wont budge. Does it slide upwards and then out of the channel? I just don't want to force anything. Thanks in advance for any help

I've put the invisicord on 3 C6's. The first time, I twisted the mirror too much and it came off the windshield. I thought I had broke something, but it twisted right back on. The last 2 times, I turn the mirror to get at the plug. Then when I depress the tab, the plug pulls straight out. Sometimes I have to wiggle it a bit, but I'm careful not to force things too hard. A little patience (I have very little) goes a long way.

it's a stubborn little thing....just keep at it and it'll come off....took me a about 15 minutes and a countless number of swear words but it will pop out.....

I was in the same boat, tried many times and could not pull the plug. So I went to Best Buy and asked the installer to look at it, he pulled it right out plugged in the wires, took all of three minutes and he did not charge for the service.
