Most of the threads I've see posted here show the clear bras (both 3M and Cleartastic) to cover the entire front end and going about 10" past the leading edge of the hood wrapping all the way around to the wheel wells. Additional pieces can be added for the mirrors and the areas behind the wheel wells on the quarter panels.
I've also read a few posts where the clear bras were shortened or extended to a custom length or additional pieces put in strategic locations. I think you can have it applied to just about any extent you want if you're willing to pay the price.
