Finally had my Borla Sport (aka Stinger) exhaust installed today. Overall I'm very pleased with the sound. Not too loud but loud enough. Make no mistake about it there is a noticeable drone over the stock system but its not unbearable. Now it sounds like a Corvette should.

Good luck with the stingers. I had long tubes installed right after I got the exhaust and I could not handle it any more after 3 months. The drone was unbelieveable. It does sound great though.
I get a pretty good 1500 RPM drone with the Magnaflows. The solution of course, is to not lug it at 1500 RPM. I just downshift one gear or more. Oddly, it is almost silent on the freeway cruising at that RPM.
Got mine installed last week. At first, the loudness kinda shocked me. But that was because I was used to hearing or rather not hearing the stock exhaust. But then the smile came on my face. Oh yeah! Now I love 'em. I get nods and thumbs up all the time about them. And its seems the more I drive, the better they sound. The drone at 1500 rpm is bearable now. And I drive an A6 paddle shifter. Its just a matter of adjusting your driving style, and you can mostly avoid it. On the highway top up, windows up doing 70+ you can barely hear them. I had Corsa Pace on my C5. They were cool. I loved the tips and no drone. But I could not hear them inside the car either. Borla Sports are the way to go. Its been said a thousand times, but thats how a Corvette is suppose to sound!
Wait till u go on a long trip with the Borla's. I will laugh my azz off then !!!!!!!!!!!!
Been on 3 long trips with stingers and I cant say there was a problem.. except the thrills of ripping up and down the streets of downtown Nashville, St Louis and Kansas City.. oh, cant forget OKC.. Yes, it's the way a Corvette should sound.. that's confirmed by number of I get.. drone at 1500 sure but who drives at 1500rpm??

about 70mph for me but it wasn't a problem till I gutted cats. Wow, things got loud then. I'm going back to quiet stuff and selling the fairly new stingers.
I've had Stingers on my 08 LS3 for about a month now.
It takes about a week to learn what RPM's & shift points they sound best at (for you)......assuming you've got a MN6.
Generally, anywhere between 1600 to 6000 RPM is the best range I've found.
They sound AWESOME ALL THE TIME!!
Enjoy.
