Hey all,
First I would like to say hello to the C6 crowd. Just traded in my C5 for a C6 (2005 with 2 thousand miles, LMB and I love it) So here come the questions about a new car ( new to me). Due to the windows indexing every time you close the door, will the tinter have a problem with applying the tint. I know on others I have had done you can't put th windows up or down for a day or 2. Thanks and i'm sure i'll have more ?'s to come.
Im not sure how other tinters do it but I trip the latches so the window will be all the way up. Tint it, then put a heat lamp on it for about 20 mins. When the car leaves my shop, its good to go. I have never had any issues doing this. You may just ask your tinter how they are going to do it. Good luck and enjoy your new C6.

If the tinter doesn't put heat on them they usually, like mine, put tape across the switches and tell you to not lower them for a couple of days... It doesn't hurt to have this done on a warm day... followed by a couple of warm days!
