if the Corvette had the same touch pad to release the trunk-like the Caddy XLR has? The Europeans have always liked that technology and I really liked it on the XLR. Maybe with some feedback, we will see it on he C7.

If that is the biggest shortcoming you find in the vette, you must really love it.
I can live without a ungraded trunk release. Now a rear sensing system for backing up..........that would do nicely.

I don't know Caddies, but you've got a button on the dash, one above the license plate and one on the keyfob.....what else do you want ?
I do like the Caddy-like pull down feature so you don't have to slam the deck lid.

What's wrong with the little button it has now and the three other additional ways to open the trunk?

I have an 08 and you dont have to slam the lid, you lower it until the mechanism catches and it lowers itself into the car mechanically. Is this what your talking about or is there another way?

Yep...that's it. I always close mine that way. Then I took it in for the roof recall and the tech just dropped the deck lid, to close it. What a D**K.

Maybe, and maybe not. The XLR and all its great features, sold so well....it's closed down completely. And it was selling in the single digits (not fingers.. ) for months before that.

No, I'd rather find real features that are attuned to the Corvette owner and potential buyer instead of trying to imitate a defunct model. jmo, tho.

I'm not familiar with the system the XLR has, but I wish the button above the license plate worked better.
