Default Firestone Firehawks

Hi all:

I just got my car back from the dealer who put on the new Firestone runflats. Too early to give a report. However, I did not get any paperwork, and was wondering if someone who is using them can tell me what the best tire pressure is to maintain. Thanks.

Did they recommend to put them on or you asked them to do so?
I think you should run 32-35 i might be wrong.

The door sticker says 30 pounds and as far as I know it doesn't make any difference what brand of tire it is.

I requested them. The dealer put in 35 lbs.

I've read several of these posts over the past few months, and all the replies of people on the CF who seem to know what they're doing all say the brand doesn't matter (normal street driving, not track use) and to use the recommended 30 psi, cold, for our C6's. It's what I use and my Firehawks have about 5000 miles on them. I think it has to do with the weight, tire size, etc. so 30 psi it is for me regardless.

If the new tires are the same size as OEM, then follow the door label.
30/30 for me.

Dont trust what dealers put in tires or what anyone other than you puts into tires.

My cousins cobalt had 45psi in one of his tires after getting new tires put on at discount tire.
