Include, as in all the prices for options and base car INCLUDE shipping? No. It is called out as a separate line item and is not discounted. Therefore, it is still 825. Meaning, it is base car, options AND destination.

Actualy mine includes destination charge in the GM supplier price. The salesman and new car manager even told me so. The destination charge is just a gimmic, a way to get more money.

I like to dream about not paying for the dest charge.

Terrible to wake up, though.

$825 won't kill me...but...it will give me something else to negotiate.

Yes, the supplier price definitely includes the destination charge. The $825 is not discounted like all of the other items, but it is still part of the quoted "supplier" price.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please. If you look at your BARS document, you'll see all the items of the base car, all your options and toward the bottom total model and options, destination charge, etc.

As I said above, it is called out as a separate line item. It is not discounted. You must pay it if you have a supplier certificate.

Remember this PDF we got on the '08 prices? http://www.oncp.net/2008%20corvette.pdf

Here's the top line: "2008 MODEL YEAR VEHICLE PRICE SCHEDULE
EFFECTIVE WITH START OF 2008 MODEL YEAR PRODUCTION
Base Model Prices
Model
Model
Description
List
Price

D/H(b) MSRP(c)
Dealer

$45,170.00 $0.00 $45,170.00 $40,427.15 $39,072.05 $39,222.05 $825.00

That is actually next to the acronym, "DFC" on my sheet.

I believe we are all saying the same thing but with a little semantics: yes, you must pay it, no it isn't discounted like the base car or the options, and yes, (or no) it is NOT in the base car price, the base car discounted price or any of the options, discounted or otherwise.

You definitely have to pay the $825. It is not discounted like the base price of the vehicle and all of the options. However, when the dealer quotes you a supplier price, it includes the $825 charge. You will not get surprised with an additional $825 charge when you go to pick your car up.

I picked up my 2008 coupe last Wednesday and have the invoice in front of me as I type this. If you get supplier price, you do NOT pay $825 in addition to the supplier price on the invoice.

On my invoice:
GMS 48279.05
Supplier 50444.86
MSRP 56285.00

All three prices include the $825 destination charge.

Yes it does include destination. When you pay supplier price, the destination is $825 just like everyone else pays.

Fine! When you go to pay for the car, make sure to bring a check that includes: the total for the car, INCLUDING destination charges.

Look at the breakdown that adds up to 50,444.86 and you will see that the 825 is in there. That is a total number you are showing. Claiming that destination is not in there is like saying that you are not paying for any options either.

Jim,

Please reread my post above. I never said that the destination is not in there. I said that the supplier price includes the destination charge.
