Default Electrical Gremlins

I've had a couple of gremlins rear their ugly head this week. First, on Monday turning left from a stop, the dreaded "service active handling" message occured. After getting coffee and starting up again, it was gone.
Secondly, the wife told me last night that the "air bag" light was lit on her way home from the store. I went out and started it when I got home from work and no light.....both cleared on their own.....I'll have to get a code reader and see if I have any stored codes......

An old bug with an easy fix.
A connector for the steering wheel sensor works loose, needs to be reinforced.
Take it to the dealer, they'll know what to do (or should) as there's a TSB on the problem.
Heard of guys doing this fix themselves; but, that'd be up to you.
Do a search, you should turn something addressing this including the location of the connector and fix.

Hadn't heard of this one, 'til now.
I've begun throwing an emissions system code, of all things.

The "Service Active Handling" has been known to clear itself, but it's only temporary & will come back again until one day it remains.

Looks like it's back to the dealer for both of us.
