Default Birth Date wanted

Is there any way to find out the birth date of a 2008 Corvette that was bought off a dealer lot and not ordered. My 2008 was the 6344th of the assembly line this year. It was built in August and was just curious if it was close to my actual birth day of 8/19.
It was order # MDWHMH if that helps any,my guess it it was produced at least 4 weeks ago or more.

Edit: I found the sticker on the passenger front wheel well stating 8/22/07 ,thanks to my brother (Wrangler Rich) reading this post and calling me. That's pretty close as my 59th birthday was on a Sunday and the car was born on Wednesday.I was probably sitting in the begining pieces on my birthday!

My VIN 5417 rolled off the line on 8/23/07. Based on your VIN, I bet your car was finished either 8/30 or 9/4. Your dealer can tell you for sure and can print out the status codes and dates for your car. (I have a print out on mine).

Mine was built 900 after yours ,so I guess the date in the wheel well is not acurate.

Bob,

Which wheel well are you referring to? I haven't looked at my wheel wells but I did watch mine be built and I don't recall any stamping going on.

Any dealer work order will state the production date.

Or like JimTN said, send me your info and I will supply GM's official build date for the vehicle in question. Not a date written on a wheel well.

The date in the passenger wheel well is NOT the date the car was built. It appears to be the date the fender liner was made. The date in my WW is 3/7 but the car was built 3/20. As far as "signatures", there are "signatures" in out of the way places all over the car from people who have inspected certain parts.

Thanks David. It was built 8/31/07 so I guess that settles the issue of dates written under the wheel well or whatever are not the build dates.

I was putting new speakers in my 89 Camaro, and found a build sheet under the carpet in the back. Much to my surprise, final assembly was performed on my birthday, 12/23!
