In different lights the car totally changes color. Today in full sun- the front fascia was not even close to a color match to the rest of the paint. Then 15 minutes later from a different angle it looked closer. I think maybe materials makes the difference. It will be something I'll live with. Is this why CR has been on constraint. Maybe they will be looking at JSB next.
What you're describing isn't unique to JSB or CRM; it can happen with any C6 color. The panels for a given car are not all painted together plus, as you suggested, they're not all made of the same material. There are bound to be slight differences between panels.
When I was at the plant last week, it was the first time I had seen JSB.
Of all the colors right now, it has the most color travel when you look at it from different angles. And that is what you are seeing. The front and rear fascias transition into the body panels at a little different angle, and it shows up as a color difference.
