Has anybody compared an 08 AO to an 07? I'm wondering if there is a difference now that it isn't a tintcoat. Makes me think th eshine will not be as deep.
Do a search this has been discussed in length. If you like buy. As a owner of an 08 AO I can not tell the difference between a 07 and 08 and I have seen the 2 together in the sun.
As was stated the debate rages on and the topic has been discussed in detail. With that said, I'll offer you my opinion. I have seen up close and in person both the '06-'07 AO and the '08 AO. There is no discernable difference when the two are viewed under the same lighting conditions. The paint process and tint coat were changed for the 2008 AO. Only you can decide for as many people that have viewed the two there are as many opinions offered here on the forum as to whether there is a difference or not. I work in the graphics industry and have a pretty good eye for color and my opinion is that you will not know the difference.

I also own an Atomic Orange 08.
You can look at many photos of the 08's, but they all look different because of the camera, lighting conditions or the viewing angles.
I've parked mine next to an 07 AO on the dealer's lot.
I can't tell the difference.

Thanks, that's good to know. I DID search first but must not have used the right search words because even though I got lost of results none showed me discussions about this. I'll look even deeper. I'd like to read the earlier posts.
