You can get a slip over cover from Mid-America or Redline(forum vendors) or get a handmade custom cover from DSVettes.(forum vendor also)

I have the redline, mine did not come with padding but fit well when applied with contact cement.

Gerardo at DownSouthVettes....his are the best. I have one of his padded titanium with ebony side trim covers. Really dresses up the interior and very comfortable to boot! www.dsvettes.com .

Vette Esentials also makes a nice console cover. I had one from Mid America and while it was better than the bare uncovered console lid, it's padding was too thick and too soft. My elbow sunk down into it like a pillow. The one from Vette Esentials has a thinner but firmer padding that makes it comfortable to rest your arm on, without being too soft.

Geraldo (dsvettes) was supposed to be giving away a C6 logo lid but the thread was closed with no winner announced. ( http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1750979

I got the padded arm rest with the C6 logo (no I didn't win it. ) from Gerardo at DS Vettes. It is great! Looks good and much more comfortable than the OEM.

Look at "My Corvette Photos" link. I got my new C6 logo leather console with stitching from Gerardo at DSVETTES.

Its much softer than the original and looks nicer too.

What do you think?

Steve

I have the Mid America padded cover which fits over the factory lid and am very happy with it. Perfect color match and the soft pad is perfect for my bony elbow!

I have had the Mid America console pads on my previous '05 C6 as well as my present 06 Z06. I like the soft padding. Stock wore my bony elbow OUT!!
