As strike ends, some personal comments
But at least that wait will be moving forward again. There is no worse feeling than spinning your wheels while winter approaches. I get more excited as the days pass.
GET YOUR GREEDY ASSES BACK TO WORK GUYS....both sides need to be fleixblie....you're giving Toyota a show they don't need to see..
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Then you'll understand emotion...
Look, this is not a bitch thread, so make of it what you will , sounds like you want to battle...not me..I'm a lover not a fighter...
sorry thought it fit the moment.
All of my customers appreciated that I gave a crap about the situtation rather than just sitting back. I also have stated I did not know enough on the issues to throw stones and apoligized so take a break guys...
My recent article comes from the heart so please don't try and ruin that for others..I have the time nor the patience to run back at all the threads that I covered this topic, if you missed , I apologize.
My goal is taking care of the customer, I had some very upset people and because I do care, I became upset as well.....starting to ramble again so see ya kids...
Oh thanks again for the understanding.
Lets get back on topic....

I have no chip, I just don't like people kicking others when they're down (calling rank and file "GREEDY ASSES" when all they're trying to do is hang on to what they have). The union has gained nothing in the last few negotiations, all they have done is lose jobs and benefits. Is it necessary in todays economy, yes, but I see no need to belittle them for doing everything in their power to hang on to what they have.

But was Rick specifically referring to the rank and file, or just everyone involved in general? Remember, he did say "both sides need to be flexible".
You guys can disect quotes all you want, the fact of the matter is, he called striking workers greedy asses, then praises them as hardworking and dedicated. He said it, he cooled off, he appologized for it, its over. My point in bringing it up was to point out that maybe he shouldn'd say things in the heat of the moment to which he has to later go back and appologize for, particularly things about the folks that build the Corvettes that he loves so much.
The only reason I care at all about what he says is that he and I have discussed a purchase, and while he may not remember it, I am getting GMS through my father in law, who is retired GM after nearly 40 years with the company, and that man gave up his body for GM and was a HARD worker. I didn't appreciate his comments calling striking workers "greedy asses", which he has now clarified and applolgized for, so I'm fine w/ him. And I didn't want to handle in in PM because he posted it publicly for all to see to begin with.
He manned up to it and appologized for the remark.
