Has anyone used LeaseCompare.com to lease a vette or any car for that matter? Their rates look good compared to gmac, but I want to make sure it's not a scam or something.
Please no posts on buy vs lease, I already know the pros/cons of each.
I explored using lease compare, but was quoted a money factor of .00256, my dealer got me a money factor of .00222.
That being said, I thought that they were very professional when I did speak to them on the phone. Had my dealer not beat their money rate, I would have gone with them.

Scooty
Money factor of .00222 is pretty good! How long ago was that and was it with gmac? The quote I got from LeaseCompare.com was .00244 and a 59% residual (msrp $49k and purchase price of $44k).

1.get msrp and dealer cost of car you want
2.assume price you can get car at
3.find out the money factor and residual (through internet)
4.figure out what a lease should be.
Then get quotes from a couple dealers, and lease compare.
Some of the rates I have seen on the site are ok, others are too high.
You have to know the 4 steps above to get to a real number.
Just used them for my 08 that I picked up at the museum on Friday.
Ken at the Vett Net recomended them, and I would as well.
Their values are what attracted me, but there service was stellar. Jennifer took great care, and even when the strike hit, and things were on hold, they were very flexible and worked with me and put things on hold until we were ready to get going again.
Put it this way, I would highly recommend them to anyone in my family.
I think they are a good company but they are a middle man. My understanding is that they prepare all the docs, inspect the vehicle, etc. but you will actually your payments will likely be to a bank or other financial institution. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Yes indeed!
But a middle man who does far more volume than the average consumer, and saves the banks admin time (hence money) which gets us (the consumer) a better deal!
Middle man or not...they were painless and competitive. What more could you ask for.

59% of which dollars, $49K or $44K? and what term, 3 years?
Just used ACS (LeaseCompare) for the third time: '01 Z06, '02 coupe, and now my '06 coupe bought last month. Very professonal, highly recommended, & definitely not a scam.
Couple of FedEx packages back and forth, and you are done.
Special thanks to Tarry & Steve Wilhite at ACS - lovin' the car!

I wanted to use LeaseCompare but couldn't . GMS (Emplyee Discount) leases require that you use GMAC.
This is easily solved. We can re-lease your current GMAC lease. Just call GMAC for your payoff and use that number on LeaseCompare.com to see if we can lower your payment. We'll pay off your GMAC lease and write a new lease with a lower payment. We do this a lot!
Is it true that you must use GMAC financing if you have a GMU# to get supplier pricing? The GMAC rates suck, and I'd hate to be stuck there. Generally, re-financing anything has associated costs, so I wouldn't want to buy under GMAC terms, and suffer additional penalties trying to re-fi, just to save a few bucks.
Anyone one know if its true, that a supplier cert mandates GMAC financing?

I only have 18 mos remaining....not a big deal, plus GMAC will allow me to pull ahead a few month early.

No! Supplier pricing does not require GMAC financing on leases only GMS (Employee Discount) requires it.
