Wiper Arms

I have a 2008 convert. I am not able to raise the passenger side wiper arm to clean the windshield. The arm will only lift up about 1/2 inch. The driver side arm raises up all the way and locks into an upright position. Is this normal or do I have a defective arm ?

You're still only going to be able to raise it so high - not as high as the wiper arm on the driver's side.

That's right. There are a couple of threads on this design "feature." Don't even think about how you will change the blade when the time comes.
