Every time I come to a halt or drive very slowly I find that I get [what smells like] exhaust fumes blowing into he car. When I press the recirculation button or drive at speed the smell goes away.
Is this a common thing? The car is under warranty so I'll drop it off at the dealership next week but I was wondering if there's an easy fix.
I'm intending to drive to the Corvette 'do' in Tombstone next weekend and I imagine 600 odd miles of fumes might just cause a bit of a headache...
Does it do it when it's just you on the road? I always leave mine on recirc so i dont get exhaust or cig smoke.
The smell does seem to be coming from my car - it only started doing it a few days ago so I imagine that something is dropping off. The car has done 9000 miles.
Leaving it on recirc is a good idea - probably healthier anyway. I hate leaving Los Angeles nowadays as I don't like breathing air that I can't see....
