My Precision Red Z51 coupe is an early `05 - September 2004 in-service date-- just hit 21,000 miles - - better than new at this point and will stay with us until the C7 hits the market.

Can only use the car about six months of the year. It is not a DD, merely a "fun" car.

Five thosand per summer is about all she gets driven. Long winters, short summers!

Seriously though, what on earth are you doing? Is the C6 just garage decoration, or some sort of art? Are you preserving it for Barret Jackson 2084? Do you just have money to waste away as you let your car depreciate (and probably rot its seals out and make it undriveable)?

I'm not trying to be a jerk, I'm just curious what your motive is behind having SO FEW miles on a C6!!!

Put almost 85K on the C5 and it was bulletproof.

Have only 3.5K on the C6, but it's only a few months old.

Use it or save it for the next owner. Your choice.

I bought my car October 19th 2004. I might hit 10,000 miles by Halloween.

Default Daily Driver...any excuse

Whoever purchases my car in the future will get a high mileage dream. My theory is that you should drive your Corvette until either (1) you sell it, (2) you wreck it, (3) you have it stolen from you (4) it blows up or (5) you are disabled such that you can't get out of bed. I mean...what's the point? DRIVE...DRIVE...DRIVE!!! What a car! What a country!

130,000 plus on my '98 C5. Traded it in for 2007 C6, I now have 18,000 plus on my C6. Daily driver. I love it.

I've checked your daily post count. When do you find the time to drive it?

Im with ya there, Mine doesnt have quite as low miles as yours, but I intend on ordering a 08 and keeping them substantially low, while keeping the 06 for the driving car. My reason is simply, I like low mileage vehicles. You take a 1969 Camaro with 20K original miles, unrestored, all original. Or a not so mint same year and model with 100K plus on it at a car show, which looks better and would bring more attention, money, and value? just my opinion

The poll needed to show age of Vette to mean anything.

2008- 3 months old- 3,000 miles
1999- 8 years old- 50,000 miles
1972-you figure it out- 217,000 miles

I also had a 2001 that had 34,000 miles by the time it was just over 1 year old. But on the other hand I also had a 1978 Pace Car that was 24years old with 161 miles when I bought it.
