Driven in rain, no issues.
I generally avoid puddles all together, especially in a car as low as a Corvette.
Be smart about how your driving when it's wet and you won't have an issue.

This has been discussed "AD INFINITUM".Stay out of 6 inch deep puddles and you'll be fine.

I don't use the Vararam - but I have 2 intakes for my supercharger sitting out in the airstream in front of the radiator for all the world to see. No intake box or shroud at the bottom at all. No rain problems at all. Bottom line - air intakes will NOT suck in water unless you are in a deep puddle or a monsoon rain, which you wouldn't be driving in anyway. Relax.

VaraRam calims that their intake will only ingest water if the entire nose is submerged in water...check their web site and claims on useage and warranty

not gonna happen unless you're dumb enough to drive into a deep puddle or flooded area in your $50,000.00+ car.......

Here's a link to the thread I posted a year ago regarding this issue.

It's over a year later and still no issues with water.
