I'm all for bargains, but not when it comes to safety. Always go for better tires.

Kumho is one example where price does not reflect quality...they make some great tires. Had the asx on my dakota r/t before, and lets just say being able to corner that hard in a truck downhill on a mtn road is amazing. SPTs going on my c6 once the goodyears are done...

Kumho make some GREAT tires at unbelievable prices. I do not know much about this tire, but the 712 were fantastic for the price. At this price it will be hard to pass on these tires.

Just an FYI, Kumho is 3 lbs less per tire on the rear, but only 1 lb less per tire on the front. Just in case unsprung weight is an issue for you.

That's a good price for all 4 tires, hopefully they'll come out with a run flat version that doesn't break the bank.

Ran them on my last C4. GREAT tires dry, wet, mileage wear, handling....

Am now running Kumho RFT (EMT tires on the front of my C6 - great tires. Not sure if they have rear sizes yet but the fronts are available in EMT/RFT.....

Kumho does make a run flat, the Ecsta SPT XRP. Unfortunately they aren't sized for C6.

I have the Kumho Ecsta ASX series on my Cadillac STS. Much better than the OEM Michelins at 1/2 the price.
