Default Anyone get pulled over for Bullets?

Mornin'

UPS guys comes around 7-ish last night. I sign the huge package and bring it to my garage. Pull the car in and jack it up. Finished my stuff around 10. I started up my new B&B Bullets Exhaust and WOW! I LOVE THIS EXHAUST!

I love how its so loud, its like the exact sound I was going for. Anyway, I'm just worried that I will get pulled over for it being too loud because it seems that even at cruising speed, it seems to make people's heads explode. Anybody ever been pulled over from their Bullets/other exhausts being too loud? If so, what should I tell the LEO?

Usually loud exhaust/altered exhaust is a secondary offense to a moving violation(speeding, stop sign, weaving lane changes). So, just loud, will not get you grabbed right away, unless you drive in a slow traffic area, with noise ordnances enforcement or commit primary violation first. I would be concerned about inspection sticker, that we have to get every year. In this area, without passing that, we are dead meat. Then there's always the bad draw of the cranky cop. Good Luck.

I dont know about where you live, but I've been pulled over twice for the exhaust alone on my firebird...but its considerably louder than my vette with stingers.

Just depends on how picky cops are in your area.

I live in NYC and have had my bullets on for just under 1000 miles... No problems with cops yet (knock on wood)... Best exhaust out there! What a sound!

I'm glad you are enjoying them and got them on so quickly. With the headers, they were just a bit much for me, but I loved the way they turned heads when accelerating from a stop. Thanks for buying them!

never been pulled over, but that said if I see a leo I usually take it rather easy. I love mine but can only take them for about 45 minutes before i get a headache, but I would not change them for anything. get a huge smile everytime I start the car.

Ask the harley guys how they do it. When did you ever hear of one of them getting busted? Some are so loud that they're actually painful.

No, thank you man!

It took me maybe about 3 hours with just 2 2-ton jacks and jackstands. Hardest part was taking off the stock piece.

I can't wait to do the headers back. The popping noise is starting to get to me, kinda makes me feel like a heavily modded SRT-4. I went by a couple cops today, two looked at me and smiled. The other three or four just looked at me.
