I had a friend who traded his '63 split window for a brand new '68 LeMans Blue L88 coupe. I was just 16 when he got it; it was the car that made me decide that I had to own a Corvette someday. 37 years later, I finally ordered my very first and only one.

Out of curiosity, can you compare how the '68 felt vs. your '08 in terms of power and acceleration? Although the '65 - '69 396s and 427s are legendary, I suspect that our LS2s and LS3s would out-perform them.

At least one new one every year since 1992. A couple of years my wife also had one. I could round off about 20. Oh yeah, also owned a 1982 collector edition and 1992 ZR 1. Both of those are sold and gone as are all the others except my 2008 CRM coupe.
