I have a convertible on order and I'm getting a few extras ready. Do any of you convertible owners use the windscreen that I saw in the Corvette Accessories website? It seems that it might be useful on a long drive if it really reduces the turbulence in the cockpit, especially for my wifes hair. It's pretty expensive, so I'd like to know your opinions. Thanks

Functional and GOODLOOKING! Down side is that you have to take it on and off when you raise or lower the top . BUT in my mind that is the only negative.
I've got the GM windscreen on my '05.....nothing's perfect, but it does cut wind buffeting by 40 or 50%. Wife used to compain all the time abut driving with the top down, but she's been happy since I installed it. I like to wear a baseball type cap when I'm driving....before, I had to keep pulling it down every few minutes...not now.
Hmmm....wind turbulance if you don't get it; wife turbulance if you don't get it. Makes sense to get the wind screen and reduce both forms of turbulance.
Thanks for the replies. I didn't know about the Vette Net and that looks like an easy install. But I think I might want the GM type, except that I read on another site that it was a tricky DIY job. The poster said the directions were bad and there was an extra piece that he wasted time figuring out and another piece was assembled backwards and he couldn't figure that out for awhile either. He said the job took him a couple of hours.
Did anyone find it hard to do? I'd pay the dealer to do it if you thought it was an aggravation. I'm handy with tools but I'm really bad with fine details and I hate it when things aren't perfect...
