Short answer - the self-appointed haters of the nav programers have been trying for 2+ years now to "crack" the code that will allow the stock nav system to actually play DVD's. They haven't found anything, except more and more ways to waste their time.
Bottom line - the engineers did not want the C6's nav to play DVD's. Period. There is no way to get it to happen. Either accept it or replace your unit with an after-market one that will do what you wish it to do.
