PIAA silicone wipers - also from Tire Rack. After theyv'e been used a couple of times it's almost like you've used rain-x on the windshield,

Default Bosch Icon

I just put a set of Bosch Icon blades on my 05. Look great and fit great. I think they are the best blades out there. A little pricy ($19 per). The Corvette uses 21A and 21B.

From the Bosch site:

"Up to 20% longer life than other premium blades. Each year, more and more vehicle manufacturers are specifying bracketless blades as original equipment. Bracketless wiper blades are designed without metal or plastic brackets, joints or hinges, offering design and performance improvements over conventional wiper blades. The award-winning design of Bosch ICON™ distributes more uniform pressure along the entire length of the blade for ultimate all-season performance that lasts up to 20% longer than other premium wiper blades"

I first saw them on my wife's VW Toureg.

Cheers - Jim

Anybody happen to know what brand the OEM blades are? For no particular reason, I try to keep the wiper blades OEM on all of my cars.

LBPC - Low Bidder Parts Company.

Just kidding, actually, they look like Bosch. I replaced mine with the Icons and like them. I used a 20 on the passenger's side rather than a 21, as the 21 hangs off the curve of the glass a little bit.

You mean these cars not only have wipers, they have wiper blades too?

I just installed the Bosch Icon, they're great! And, 25% off at your local Advance Auto parts store during October.

Wow! What a huge difference the Bosch Icons make, definitely worth the extra money. Thanks.

Anyone know if the Rain-x wiperfluid is any good? I heard Rain-x wasn't good for the rubber rim around the windshield. Plus what about it keeping a haze on the windshield that lights up and blinds you at night, especially when its drizzling out?

I don't use Rain-X specifically because of it's etching characteristics (which is how they get it to stick to glass) and use Rejex instead.
