P.I.E. GM12-PODS Ipod Interface - Does it Work?
Just talked to a tech at P.I.E. who stated that this Interface would provide full integration and Ipod functionality with a C6. Has anyone tried it?

I found this application sheet that does include the Corvette:

Note they have a GM12-POD/S and a GM2L-POD/S. I asked the PIE tech rep what the difference is. He said the GM2L will also work in a Corvette, but it includes the newer LAN radios as well as the Class II radios like the Vettes have. Also the GM12 offers two modes where you can either control the Ipod through the radio/navigation or the Ipod.

From reading the description this unit also has an auxiliary input, which would allow you to play any player through your sound system - but it would not control it like it says it will the Ipod.
If you have another mp3 player and only need an auxiliary input, there are many less expensive options, including a number described on this forum.
For owners with an Ipod, most are looking for control from the factory radio. There are a number of adapters that do this to some extent. The starter of this thread (myself included) is looking for someone who has tried this adapter to see if it might be better than others for a more integrated solution.
