CRM-Problem
"If you look at the hood to fender from different angles, the colors do not look the same. This is due to pitch and angle and is particularly noticeable with the tinted metallic paint.
The same holds true for the headlamp insert, which sets at an angle to just about everything else. There is a slight blue-ish tint to the lens itself, but the paint is formulated to accommodate the tint.
The bottom line - if you have the opportunity to look at another Corvette in your color, you will see the same condition. In paint circles the phenomena is called "color flop" and the over all effect is the jewel glow that your car has from a distance."
By the way, congrats on the new JSB Vette!!

Thanks! I didnt see the color difference with the JSB, a local body shop manager-GM dealership in my area said factory should of repainted the headlight insert, he thinks there using a new water base paint that needs a couple of more coats.
[/QU I did in the day time at the dealership!

I am very pleased with the panels on my CRM. I have also noticd the same thing that GM describes by just looking at different angles. I love how that color pops out in the sun.
Also ... my congratulations on your new Vette.

We bought the 39 LED painted spoiler and we went crazy when we held it up to the car deciding weather it was a match. Hold the spoiler one way and it matched perfectly, hold in another and it looked to light, then to dark. One color under one lighting and another under a different light. Finally we just laid the spoiler on the deck where it was going to be mounted and it was a perfect match.

No your dead wrong! I have had 5 Corvettes all verts, all red-period. I sold my 06 Monterey Red to get CRM, the Bowling Green Factory told me it was stunning!!! I have seen 3 CRM in person all have had different color panels, I have never seen this before in all the other Vettes I have had. When spending Big $$$ on the these rides, the color has to be right, do you like paying on a car thats not right, enough said...
