Default MP3 Extremely SLOW????

when i skip songs and such, there's always a lag for a few seconds... what's the deal? is this normal??? it makes for listening to an mp3 cd very annoying...

Ive only used mine 3 times but it worked great everytime. Sorry to hear you are having trouble

Never experienced this at all and I listen to MP3 discs almost exclusively. I burn with Nero and set the MP3 bitrate to between 128 and 192 kbps. I also use disc-at-once so it properly closes the session after the burn.

It may have something to do with the bitrates of the files you are playing. If you have files with different bitrates on the same CD it may take time for the radio to find the right codec and then play the file. Its always better to try to store files with same bitrate on a CD.
