Default Having trouble

I will be the first to admit I am not really a "handy" type guy, but I think I can install the OEM Nav I just bought from EBAY. I realize it needs to be taken to the dealer to have them punch in the VIN and all that, and that's fine.

I'm trying to remove the center console and am not having a fun time. I was told I need to remove the shift boot to access a screw, but have no idea how you would do that (I have the 05 automatic). If someone could please detail what I need to do to get that console off to reach the radio, it would be greatly appreciated.

Since I have BOSE, it would be plug and play, but I don't want to mess anything up in the process.

Thanks!

tHE EBRAKE SCREW SHOULD BE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE under the boot. You need to lift and pry a little to get to it,assuming it's the same on autos as sticks.Get outside the pass.door, reach in and lift the boot a little.
