Anyone have any experience with any harness bars? I'm considering one for the extra safetly and so I can mount a camera on it. So anyone have any pics or can recommend which one to get?

If that was it's sole purpose then I suppose so but I'm also interested in the safety aspect of it for 5-point or 6-point harnesses. (not sure which is better or would work yet though)
For occaisional track use and works with the stock seats I believe the hands down favorite will be the hardbar mount. The Pfadt Race Engineering site has some detail:
I have not seen a single working bar that I like, they are all or mickeymouse, glued in.
I am going to tear out some seats and carpet, and get the guys in the machine shop going.
If I build a decent, working, good looking billet bar, would anyone be interested?
You need to check out vetteworksonline.com. Dan at Vette Works is a great guy and puts out a quality product.
The Shark Bar works great. I had it in my 2005 Coupe and loved it. You can buy it with pre cut panels for mounting. It bolts to the side pillars and is very secure. I felt it also provide greater stiffness to the Vette.
I had Simpson 6 point harnesses for both driver and passenger. I would go with 6 point harnesses again because they are easier on "the boys". I went with the cam lock fastner for easy of use.
IMHO,
Patrick
