Took mine in for her first Oil change and they suggested the nitrogen service of the tires. Went for it, so I guess I"ll see if it's smoother??? (Smoother ride/maintains pressure better?)
I do know that all aircraft tires are serviced with nitro, so I was wondering if anyone else has had this done?
we selll nitrogen in our service department. I put it in my vette, it's more for the fact the air pressure does not fluctuate much. Cold vs hot, i see a +1 psi varriance at most, depending on the tempetures lately.
I also have it in my daily commuter and it does ride smoother...
Normal air is 96 percent nitrogen. Water in air makes up the real pressure differeintial when exposed to heat. A dry air pressure source provides all that the normal driver needs. Alanzo recently was nipped for giving away Ferrari's inert gas mix. I doubt that the info will make a difference in anyone's life here.
