What kind of power gains would be expected from a "Killer Bee" unit on an LS3, tuning included with an A6 ?

The LS3 CAI is not as restrictive as previous intakes. That plus a tune and no other work may net you 20-25 rwhp. Are they currently making a Bee for the LS3? I can only find references to one for the C6 Z06.

The LS3 and the ZO6 are the same. Interchangeable! I have installed the BPP Vortex and I'm happy with the results. I previously installed the Vette-air with my stock LS3 air intake and I felt the difference. Then I replaced the stock air intake and the Vette-air...Again I felt a difference. My Et dropped .2 and my MPH increased by 3 MPH in the 1/4. Good luck in you decision. If you install the killer bee you should also look into installing the Vette-air with it. The dino numbers should not increase much with a CAI...BUT...You will feel the difference.

I've got the Killer Bee intake with the Vette-Air.

I installed the Killer Bee first, and drove it for a couple weeks before I installed the Vette-Air.
I felt a noticable difference. More of an instantaneous kick when I stepped on it.

When I finally got the time, I installed the Vette-Air.
I'm sure it helps, but I really couldn't tell a lot of difference.

Since the Killer Bee is so beautifully crafted, with very smooth transitions, and a HUGE air filter, I think sucking in all that extra air made the most difference.

After installing the Vette-Air does the engine compartment get dustier/dirtier? Just curious.
