Is there a fitting on the 08 Z51? I can't find one but the manual says it has to be lubed - any help out there? Thanks!

Should be one on the bottom, maybe the factory installs a plug & you have to put a zert fitting in. My Z51 05 has a fitting.

Thanks for the pics - I was looking in the right place but the 08s have no fitting and no plug that can pulled to allow a fitting. I guess I am good to go but I wonder what else is not accurate in the manual? Thanks, again-

I believe that the 08 no longer has the fitting that 05, 06 and 07 Z51 had.

The logic is easy. No added grease... part wears out faster, bring it in to dealer for costly repair. Parts and repair are keeping US auto companies alive. All older cars had grease zirks everywhere. Where did they go?

I have had many cars with no grease fittings and had no problems after 162K+ miles...
