Comp grey wheels look OK on a black only car that's going for the stealthy, blacked out, tinted window "why did I bother to buy a Vette 'cuz no one can tell what kind of car it is until they're right on top of it" look. On any other color car they just look like wheels whose owner hasn't bothered to clean the brake dust off of them.
Chromed wheels look great on '72 (maybe '73) and older Vettes with other chrome body pieces. On the no chrome C6, all attention is drawn to the wheels, with none drawn to the car. The only exception to this is for Machine Silver, which is such a subdued SUV/sedan/minivan color that something...anything...is needed to breathe some life into the car.
Polished wheels are the bastard child of matte and chrome and are, unfortunately, incapable of making their own appearance statement.
The standard matte wheels look most appropriate for a world class GT. Check out the mega-buck Euro exoticars...You'd be hard pressed to find one that comes out of the factory with anything but matte wheels.

As someone with silver painted wheels, who doesn't always bother to clean the brake dust off of them, I kind of like the look of the gray wheels on LBM.
I like the comp gray after seeing more of them in person. My original thought was that they have that brake dust look to them... always dirty.. I went with the standard ones on my MS coupe.
Obviously, this is a matter of personal taste. I hate black or gray wheels and dislike chrome on a C6. Black or gray just hides the wheels and chrome overpowers the rest of the car. Polished is just right for me. For your question, I'd recommend the silver painted wheel.
