Hey Graham -
Thanks again for sharing your adventures and documenting them with fantastic pictures! I'm very jealous. Would love to tool around both the UK and the Continent in an Atomic Orange corvette - but with your posts, at least we can live vicariously (not to be confused with "Up the Vicarage" - do Hackett references count??? )
Cheers!

This is a very old thread of mine that took some unexpected twists after my last post. 😞
All these years later and I am in a fabulous C6 Z51, but sadly not Atomic. This time a stunning Le Mans Blue that I've owned just over two years.
Unfortunately all the pictures that were in the thread vanished when the website went, but as I continue my Corvette Adventures I have been regathering old images on instagram if anyone is on there.

I'll either start a new thread or update and continue this story with 'Cunningham' (my third Corvette) here in this original thread if anyone cares to follow the written adventures.
I have plenty of new Corvette adventures planned post Covid, so I look forward to sharing them. 👍😎🇬🇧🇺🇲

Graham, I'm in.. just read this thread from the beginning. Bit of a time warp from 2008 to 2021 I'd say. Would love to hear more about Atomic as well as Cunningham.
As for musical reference, I call my C6 Vert - "Darkstar"

Atomic has had two owners since I (stupidly) let it go & I'm in regular contact with the new owner who renamed it Atomic Bomb.
A number of mods have been made which for me helped remove the desire to try to own it again.
Instead I opted for new Corvette adventures & along came Cunningham.
The weather in England really hasn't played ball much this year but the UK also remains in Covid lockdown, so drives for pleasure are not permitted as we remain house bound.
I was able to catch a break and give Cunningham an early Spring clean a couple of weeks ago and then just took a local run out (for essential supplies...)
More soon I hope! 🙏😎🇬🇧🇺🇸
Cunningham in the English sunshine.

As we head into Christmas, I finally get a break from all of my tour work
The last few years hasn't allowed me a great deal of Corvette time, but everywhere I go, I take images of the Vettes I see and I now have a dedicated Corvette Instagram account.
In 2022, I added this stunning 1973 Stingray which had been fully restored after being brought over from Florida (ironic given the origin of this thread!)
I continued my travels, and took that to France & the Le Mans Classic as my first major road trip of around 2000 miles.
I still have my fabulous C6 Z51 but do plan to buy another C6 in America next year that will have BIG adventures!
Over the coming days, I'll add some images from my travels with both Corvettes and I hope you enjoy them.
Have a wonderful Christmas & festive season everyone!

In July, I was reunited with Atomic, the C6 Z51 that stated this thread.
Now named Atomic Bomb, I've been friends with the new owner for a number of years after he bought it 6 years after I (stupidly!) sold it.
Here are both together, built just a month apart.

'First Of The Year' - Annual road test tomorrow, so all prepped & ready for the first run of the year. I could do without the 30f/0c temperature here in the UK, but really looking forward to being back behind the wheel of a Corvette. Everything crossed for a pass! 😊👍🇬🇧🇺🇸 📸 Instagram @corvettecorral
