Sent my final payment this afternoon. Took me 18 months. How long before I recieve the pink slip?

I recently received one but not from the lender. The lender generated the request for it, but it came from CA DMV. Took 15 days from payoff to mailbox in my case.

California is not a title holding state. It took just 4 weeks to receive my title.
