I bought an 08 CRM cpe 9/12. Left the next morning for D.C. Not a whole lot of time to look at the car except over the hood. The front facia is darker than the hood and front fenders, the rear is lighter than the rear fenders, the roof is the darkest of them all, and the piece behind the roof is the lightest of them all. I've tried to shrug it off as changing shades in the sun etc. but it's getting to me. Considering they charge $750.00 more for this paint also, what does everyone think I should do? I'll appreciate all your comments. Vin is 05447 built in Aug.
First you need to bring it to the dealers attention and then to a GM rep. Seems the paint messed up, if that is the case then a whole run of cars will be painted as yours is.
There were alot of comments like this before the constraint on Crystal Red took place at the factory in early September. Since then, I have not heard any more comments about body panels not matching. My Crystal Red coupe was built the first week of October and all panels match perfectly.

I think your car probably escaped QC just prior to the factory deciding there was a major problem with CRM. Like others have said, start with the dealer, hopefully they will move it through channels. I am confident it will be made right. Keep us informed.
