Well, I've been reading the forums for quite awhile now, and I would like to introduce myself. I own a 2005 GTO now, but I'm looking at getting a vette in the spring. I can't wait! I realized that I had the corvette bug a few years ago, but could never afford one. The GTO is great, but there is NOTHING like a Corvette....truly the greatest sports/muscle car around. Recent events in my life will allow me to purchase my dream car.

And yes, keep reading, you will likely learn more than you thought you wanted to know about the car. 
If you don't mind, everyone would appreciate you filling out your profile, first name, city and state are all that is necessary, no personal info if you don't want to but occupation is nice too. In the future, when you have questions, you will get better answers when folks know you a little, and it is friendlier. This forum is friendly, most of the time.

Talon, you will soon realize that this is one of the best forums around. I wish i had known about this forum before I purchased my vette. Good luck with your purchase. If you are going to buy a new one, look into a museum delivery.

RickT, no problem! As for the car i want, 06 or 07 LMB (no 08 cuz they dont make em in that color anymore

I went from this...(409 RWHP small cam/bolt-ons)
to the toy in my sig.
The Goat will always be high on my list. It's a GREAT car for the money and blows away everything else in its price bracket. Lots of fun too.
I'm gonna miss that car, but the C6 is a whole other level of fun.
