Yes it does mean a lot. That's a great deal for it being in California and being a 1sb. The 4k in goodies is just the topping on your perfect dessert.

BTW, I agree with BigJoe and tell you NOT to listen to people that compare apples and oranges. A stripped down 1lt is not the same as a 1sb/3lt Z51. I test drove both and ended with my 1sb Z51. Get it and enjoy it.

Excelent condition with that mileage in my neck of the woods is selling for $34,561 - private owner. If it is loaded like you say, 3lt, nav, clear top, chrome wheels, z-51. Retail they would ask $37,000.

Depends on where you are located. The dealers in the NW are offering brand new leftover 2007's for $38,900 with another 2K rebate........those are probably 1LT's though. How important are the options to you compared to having a brand new car???

Bought mine over a year ago. 05 Z51 3LT HUD NAV, everything. Had 14K when I bought it and it was just over a year old. $41K.

Sounds to me like 36K is a decent price.

Unless there is more than the options you noted, it sounds reasonable, not great, to me. Just traded a 07 which listed for $55,000. plus and got $40,000. The dealer put it on his lot at $45,000. It had 8000 miles.

Sounds too high...I got mine: 2005 everthing but Nav w/ Z51, Coupe manual with 12k mi. for $36,000 with no imperfections still had new car smell. Keep looking it can be a pain but it's worth it.

Sounds like your already sold on the car..I say if you like the price then go for it, if price is a hold up haggle some. Everyone will have opinions...some good some bad..

If it meets all your needs and you do not mind the price then go for it.
