Default Question about Service????

After reading all the posts I will stick with the base suspension. About adding z51 sway bars or any other thing I will do in the future where do you get the work done? Im not handy so would I need to look for a shop or any chevy dealership for shocks, sway bars , costmetic items , changing rims, etc.....
If anyone can recommend a shop in the NY area would be great too.

I think you should try it yourself. Find a friend at first to help. I think you will find it's a lot easier than you think. Besides saving a lot of money you will have the satisfaction of working on your Corvette.

If you lived here in San Diego I would help you.

I think that says it all right there. Most vette folks are pretty social and helpful. I suggest you find one or more local Corvette clubs to join. Make some friends, should take all of a weekend and I'm sure there will be new friends willing to help you do almost anything. You know, some folks almost live to work on cars, especially other peoples' cars with other peoples' money. Just a suggestion but I think it will work and you will likely learn a lot and have fun.

You could start with the Northeast Section of the forum. Post the question there. I'm sure you will get lots of help. You could Google Corvette Clubs in NY then sort through to find ones closest to you. You could ask the question here in General. I know there are several Northeast folks here every day. But I think you should go spend some time hanging out in the Northeast Section and see what you can see.

Re post in the events and regional column section. Ask about clubs and help

You will find a lot of people around NYC.
Today though most are not on the forum.

Your best bet is to repost on Monday when things are sorta normal

Default Jersey

If you are on saten Island, just do a check on the web for Jersey vette clubs. I'll bet there is a couple

Default If Can't Find Somebody To Help You, Post Thread For Mod Party Help

I sure you should be able to find lots of help, we have mod parties in the DFW area and dozens of people show just to come over to help. Usually they ask that you bring some food etc. and have a break to eat, the women even get into the party. Great GTG's! We do brakes, exhausts, shocks, lights, CAI, plugs, you name it, etc. Give it a try!
