sill plates
have o8 sill plates for my 07 do i install over the plain black and how do i install two sided paper bottom has glue strip do iuse a solution of soap and water to get in place will this makeglue not stick

The 07 door seals look to be a vinyl material.
A heat gun, and some soapy water will probably remove them. I wouldn't lay the new seals over the old as it'll likely lose adhesion eventually.
After you remove the old seals, just make sure the mounting surface is clean and dry.
