The best corvette shop that does everything in house is Corvette Specialty in Riverside California, in fact they were featured on The Speed Channel last night working on the Bricklin on Chop Cut and Rebuild.
Prior to having just any shop work on my baby, I interviewed 4 Southern California Corvette Shops and trusted Corvette Specialty with my Vette.
They are completive, reliable, and most of all honest. Their work is show quality. Call Loarn or Mike Bensaid for a interview, you will not regret it. Check out their web site at www.CSOCracing.com something you wont regret. Good luck Ernie

Cost of paint work in CA is about double to triple the cost of a paint job in TX.

What you want done depends on $$ and quality cost $$ for something done right.

I already got a few people even from CA to send there cars to one of the best shops in the country to Houston Tx. 650 transport there and they do an UNREAL job. I had a complete color change to a Kandy on my last vette and if I had the funds I would do it all over again. Attention to detail at this shop is next to none.

Let me know if you want more info.

I will never do business with any website that forces an audio download into my hard drive without my permission.

I for one would like more information please. If you would post it that'd be great but I'll also take a PM if you prefer that.

Thanks in advance.

This place does some amazing cars. Color change will take about 2 months. If you PM me the details on what your looking for I can get you a quote. The time and attention to detail that they use is rare. Also, if you go with House of Kolor Kandy..(very expensive paint) it comes with a life grantee on fading. Here is my old C5...Pictures do not do it justice. Took 100% appart see attention to detail around the VIN stickers and door jam. It looks factory with 0 orange peel.

Let me know

when I took my vette to Corvette Specialty of California it was stock. As you can see in my pictures I had them do quite of few mods. I
am very pleased with the show quality of workmanship. I had a complete paint job, CSOC racing hood, brake ducts, CSOC spoiler, along with many body mods. I had them mold my Canard in to look like one piece (other body shops said it could not be done) I have all my work done there. They use the very best material and i highly recommend them. That is if you want the best. I just picked up my vette on Sat. with PFADT coilovers and drilled and slotted rotors. ( man does it stop now and having it lowered rides like a dream) I plan on having them install a PFADT 6 point roll bar along with new interior.
(after watching them on The Speed Channel installing interior on the Bricklin on Chop Cut Rebuild) Remember this, If you are unhappy with the workmanship done by others on your vette, you will be reminded every time you drive it. Ernie
when you call ask for Loran,

I would never send my Vette out of state for work unless it was a proven shop and I had lotsssss or denaroooo so spend. What would you do if you needed a touch up or have a problem? Send your vette back, that sounds like a great idea Martha. I know some people do send their work out of state, when I was dropping my car off I noticed Corvette Specialty had a few vettes from other states along with even Canada.( maybe they watch The Speed Channel?) The only reason would be if you wanted to send it to the best and you didn't live in So California.....

I would call and make an appointment and go over what you want done. With me all was smooth and the car came out better than I expected and in a timely manner. Every time I dropped by to see the progress Lorain always dropped what he was doing to show me my car. I would never recommend any business to anyone if I was not completely satisfied with the work they did for me. Call Lorain.
