VIN sticker replacement
My car was in an accident and the drivers door frame was replaced which included the VIN sticker. Can the body shop get a new VIN sticker for my car? They are going to call GM and find out but I know I can get the answer here. They said that they have gotten VIN stickers for some Fords they have repaired. They said the district manager has to come out and install it on the Fords.
Sorry for the bad news, but no. Even with warranty repairs to the door and if it was current for the model year being built, VERY hard, just about impossible. '06, non warranty repair, impossible.
