2007 boot 0n 2008 console

Anyone know how to transfer the shift boot from a 2007 console to the 2008 console. I got the console from Gene and it does not come with the boot. Any ideas for a simple but effective transfer ?

The boot isn't fixed to the console, the console fits around it.
You will see when you remove the old console.

5 tabs or so around the perimeter...they just slide in...
